About Ryan
At the age of 18, Ryan embarked on a journey to Thailand, where he joined a grind-house where residents earned their income through online poker. The die was cast – an unconventional destiny lay ahead. Over time, he rose to the average stakes on European and American platforms, as well as the high stakes on Chinese apps, in a game renowned as one of the most competitive and intricate, its daily practice a demanding mental challenge.

Understanding and mastering concepts such as productivity, variance, the long-term, resilience, and ego control played a pivotal role in his success. They now form an integral part of his holistic worldview, allowing for meticulous analysis of social dynamics.

All good things must come to an end - The advent of artificial intelligence, coupled with elite programmers from Eastern countries, swiftly closed this goldmine. Humans cannot compete with computational power in games intricately tied to mathematics. Concurrently, the moral dilemma of this lucrative activity was profound: the earned money directly stemmed from losses of other players, sometimes those struggling with addiction, and this activity did nothing to contribute positively to society.

Life is filled with surprises, both good and bad. Unexpected and random events led Ryan to spend 6 weeks behind bars in Thailand. The conditions of confinement were, naturally, unlike those in our developed countries. Picture being one of over a hundred inmates in a space the size of a small gym, with less than two square meters per individual, lights on 24/7, an insurmountable language barrier, and no means of external communication. Strength ruled in this hell overseen by a clan of psychopaths who had themselves chosen to live in this cell, establishing various traffics and enforcing a law of fear to avoid returning to their home countries. [...] Expending all his energy to reach the light at the end of the tunnel, overcoming such a situation, and surviving it, leads to questioning our initial notions of life and gaining a sense of perspective. As a result of this fortuitous event, Ryan lost his sense of empathy. Fortunately, empathy resides within each of us, and with effort, it can be rekindled and reshaped according to our preferences. Consequently, he is adept at maintaining the necessary distance when interacting with loved ones and clients grappling with complex situations.

It was during these stays in Thailand that Ryan forged friendships with Ukrainians and Russians. The unwavering logic and open-mindedness of his friends motivated him to connect with these individuals who, like him, sought answers to existential questions by traversing the world. Ryan discovered the psychology-based game-sport called 'Mafia', (not in any way related to illegal activities), created by a university professor in Moscow in 1994. Participants must be able to identify lies, lie, and express themselves clearly and concisely in a relatively stressful competitive environment. His passion for this activity led him to explore Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Poland, Estonia, and Dubai.

This globe-trotting lifestyle cultivated within Ryan a deep love for languages. To kill two birds with one stone, he decided to teach French and English online full-time for three years. The overall experience was positive, yielding excellent results. Once again, he seized the opportunity to foster personal growth while effectively contributing to society. Gradually and unofficially, more than half of his lessons evolved into discussion-therapy sessions, always conducted in the target language! Students recognized that the most valuable takeaway from him was not merely language acquisition, but his worldview and understanding of each individual's role in society. They frequently sought advice on profound aspects of daily life. Having understood the situation well, Ryan is now officially available for this new mission!
